Hire is now the most popular way to acquire equipment. Why use your own money when it can be used elsewhere in the business. At iGSG we provide our customers with equipment and terms to suit their individual requirements.

Counterbalance Forklifts

Many businesses today have Counterbalance Forklifts whether they use them inside their warehouse, out in their yard or both. There are five factors to look for when buying a Counterbalance truck.

  • User Comfort – a truck is a workplace where operators can spend a lot of their working day. Our range has been selected with the driver in mind. Quiet, spacious, ergonomic, precise.
  • Driver Safety – all our forklifts have a range of safety solutions to avoid dangerous situations. Driver management systems, good all round visibility, auto-brake systems and safety lock-outs reduce the risk of injury and damage to goods, racking, trucks and most importantly staff.
  • Operation – low energy consumption, high reliability, operating efficiency and simple diagnostics are important when running a Counterbalance truck. Computer controlled operating systems give secure access, driving parameters and operating performance data.
  • Handling & Efficiency – manoeuvrability, access, low energy consumption and high productivity are important when selecting a Counterbalance Forklift. The range of trucks that iGSG can supply means that you do not have to compromise in this area.
  • Adaptability – our range of Counterbalance Forklifts can be adapted to suit most handling needs. Capacities, mast heights, cab configuration, headroom and battery system can all be separately specified.

The iGSG Counterbalance Truck Range

There are two broad ranges of Counterbalance Forklifts that we supply.

Electric Range

These are silent, easy to drive and efficient. They can be used in all situations but are obviously most appropriate where fumes and contamination are important. Each model has top class ergonomics, fully adjustable driver compartment and on-board computer with PIN code access. The AL motor gives excellent performance and low running costs. There is a full range of mast systems and three and four wheel variants are available.

Capacities vary between 1250kg and 3000kg with lift heights up to 7m.

These can be diesel or LPG fuelled. They have more power than their electric counterparts and have car-like driveability. They have advanced safety and efficiency features and come with a wide range of optional extras to ensure optimal handling and performance. The iGSG range of internal combustion Counterbalance trucks meet demanding environmental standards and are capable of heavy lifting capacities, from 1500kg to 7000kg. They can lift to heights of 6m and come with a full selection of mast systems.
