This is an ideal website for keeping up to date on news developments, product innovation etc. There are also some very good feature articles.

This is the media publication website for the title of the same name. This is a very wide reaching site which carries European and World news as well as being a good insight into logistics in the UK. There are always a good range of in-depth articles as well as features. The breaking news section is also supported by a weekly email newsletter to whats happening in logistics. Useful for managers looking to keep updated on worldwide developments. The channels section and in particular Health & Safety, IT, Materials Handling and Storage are useful areas.

This is the official site for the European Logistics Association. Its purpose is to inform people about what the ELA are doing at Board and Committee level. As such it is an excellent resource for those looking at legislation. The ELA is a federation of 30 national organisations covering Europe.

The ELA also offers vocational qualifications that are recognised on a pan-European basis. It offers ELA Certifications which is an assessed accreditation again recognised across Europe. These are detailed on the website downloadable syllabus.

This is the official site for the United Kingdom Warehousing Association (UKWA). It is the UK’s only trade association dedicated to the warehousing and logistics sector. The website has a lot of UKWA news, events, meetings, a good blog and details on membership. Excellent site for those companies who want to network in the logistics sector. For those looking for a logistics partner or supplier there is an excellent search section. For those looking for information or completing research, the Publications section has Guides that you can buy, article downloads, pdf copies of the UKWA magazine Warehouse and other useful information. In summary, a good industry based website that works for members and non-members alike.

It is a one-stop-shop for everything you need to understand on the safe operation of vehicles in the workplace. There are factsheets, case studies and FAQ’s.
